Martin McGuire, the voice of the Montreal Canadiens on 98.5 Sports, appeared at Mario Langlois' show, "Les amateurs de sports," to make a wish to the Montreal Canadiens fans.
McGuire's wish may seem simple, but there's a lot of irony behind it. It's not me saying it, it's him!

Following this statement, McGuire pointed out the irony behind his message, that if the CH gets the first overall pick, it can't fool you!
He's not wrong, far from it! The last high pick the Canadiens had was in 2018, when Marc Bergevin and Trevor Timmins opted for Jesperi Kotkaniemi, while Brady Tkachuk was still available...
Anyway, we want a REAL first pick this time, okay?
