Martin McGuire has just revealed a major piece of information about Cole Caufield and the negotiations that are underway

According to what he revealed, the Caufield clan (his agent Pat Brisson) and the Montreal Canadiens have officially begun negotiations for a new contract extension.

Caufield, 21, has 12 goals and 21 points in 22 games this season.
