In the last few minutes, Tony Marinaro, who seems to have a solid source well aware of the negotiations between Cole Caufield and the Montreal Canadiens, announced a major development.
This quickly set the internet on fire and it seems to be about to confirm!
I stand by my report. A 7 or 8 year contract (for Caufield), an annual salary that will not exceed Suzuki's 7.85 million dollars per year. We are approaching the finish line! Stay tuned, it's coming!
- Tony Marinaro
He adds that he has extreme confidence in his information.
This is excellent news!
A contract of 7 or 8 years, at less than eight million dollars per season, would really be the ideal scenario under the circumstances. Stay tuned, but stay well connected.
This could literally be announced from one minute to the next.
Our prediction: a 7-year contract with an annual value of 7.822 million dollars per year. And you?
