This continues to be the biggest story in the hockey world right now, and there's new development today.

Here it is:
See the passage that is probably the most striking.
"Davidson said the team was first informed of the allegations last week when the Blackhawks were in Columbus, Ohio, Wednesday to face the Blue Jackets.
Sources told Emily Kaplan of ESPN that Perry did indeed travel with the team to Columbus last Tuesday, a day before the game, and that an incident occurred that day, involving a team employee. Davidson said that Perry, who had not played in the team's 7-3 loss, had been 'immediately removed' from the game once the Blackhawks were informed, and by that time, the club had already opened an investigation." - ESPN
The information gathered during this investigation led to the events and actions we know today.
In short, there was an incident last Tuesday involving Perry and a team employee. As soon as the organization was informed, Perry was then removed from the team environment.
Details to follow.
