The former number 76 of the Canadiens made a full-on tribute to the young star of the Tricolore, making several major statements about him.
In essence, he asserts that the sharpshooter is a gem for the organization, emphasizing that he should have been a top-5 pick in his draft year, but slipped to the 15th spot.
Subban even compares the 22-year-old forward to none other than his head coach Martin St-Louis regarding his ability to finish plays and be a crucial player in critical moments.
Moreover, under MSL's guidance, Caufield is producing at an elite pace, accumulating 80 points, of which 52 are goals, in 90 games. That's exceptional.
The defenseman concludes by nicknaming him King Cole, no less.
