According to information shared by Guillaume Lefrançois of La Presse, Kent Hughes would like to bring former Tampa Bay Lightning star Vincent Lecavalier to the Habs organization.
Remember that Hughes was Vincent Lecavalier's agent throughout his professional career. They know each other very well.
If this association were to take place, Lecavalier would not have a big role with the Tricolore. He is based in Tampa Bay and seems to want to stay there. The Quebecer has three young children, so he is very involved in his family life.
Could he become a special advisor to the new Montreal GM from a distance? After all, not all of the administrative staff is based in Quebec.
