With the NHL trade deadline fast approaching, the rumors are getting more and more frequent, and we even get some confirmations.
TSN's Chris Johnston was able to confirm that the Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas did indeed call Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes in an effort to know the price to pay for Ben Chiarot.
With Jake Muzzin's injury long term, the Leafs need to move on the left side of their defense, and Chiarot would be one of their priorities.
It will be interesting to see if GMs Hughes and Dubas can manage to find common ground, or not, but there is a lot of talk behind the scenes at the moment.
What would you ask of the Leafs, for Ben Chiarot?
Would you be disappointed to see Kent Hughes complete a trade with Toronto (division rivals)?
