Kent Hughes has just revealed the Canadiens' best acquisition to date and we love it
As we told you yesterday, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes recently agreed to give a generous interview to TVA Sports' excellent reporter Anthony Martineau, and he agreed to comment on a number of topics, including this:
In this exclusive interview, Hughes also answered the following question: "What is your best acquisition since you started as GM?
See his very interesting answer:
"If I only had one choice, I would say the hiring of Martin St. Louis. He brings a lot more than just a presence on the ice or behind the bench. He's a great leader who does a lot to establish a winning culture that will endure on the team." - Kent Hughes, via TVA Sports article
A response that surprises many, but speaks volumes. The Montreal Canadiens general manager has made some great moves, in not even a year, but his best acquisition so far is none other than Martin St-Louis.
St-Louis wants to create a winning culture within the CH and, let's face it, it's working very well right now, even if he doesn't have all the tools in front of him.
