Kent Hughes has just announced a highly anticipated personnel move
In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization has announced a personnel move that was expected by many:
"The Canadiens have sent forward Rem Pitlick to the Laval Rocket and have recalled forward Anthony Richard." - Montreal Canadiens
So Richard finally gets his very deserved chance with the Habs. He has been sensational this season with the Laval Rocket, racking up 31 points in just 27 games (18 goals).
He has been one of the best players in the entire American Hockey League so far this season and it will be really interesting to see what he can bring to the Tricolore.
Richard, 25, is a former Val d'Or Foreurs and a former 100th overall pick of the Nashville Preds in 2015.
This was indeed an extremely anticipated personnel move, as many fans and analysts have been calling for Richard's recall for several weeks. It is now done!
