On Wednesday night, the Calgary Flames began their second round series at home against the Edmonton Oilers. For the occasion, forward Matthew Tkachuk had a great crowd in attendance as his father Keith and brother Brady were on hand.
Motivated by his guests, the eldest of the Tkachuk brothers managed nothing less than a hat trick.
As is the case every time a player scores three goals in a game, caps flew around the rink. Funny enough, a video captured the father of the main player, Keith, following the third goal and we could see that he absolutely did not want to take off his cap to celebrate his son's achievement:
In the end, the Flames took Game 1 with a 9-6 win over the Oilers.
