Jesperi Kotkaniemi file: the Hurricanes have just made a controversial decision

After returning him to the fourth line in the middle of a game following another disappointing performance by the Finn, Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour has just given Jesperi Kotkaniemi another opportunity.

Eventually, Kotkaniemi will have to show his team something and he will have to (at least) produce a little bit, because he could really lose his job.

In any case, he'll never be able to say he didn't get a real chance in Carolina.

Kotkaniemi, 22, has amassed a very weak three points (1 goal) in 17 games this season, despite his elite deployment with big minutes and star wingers.
