All teammates, some opponents and many specialists have the same opinion about Christian Dvorak, he is kind of a Phillip Danault, but with a scoring talent. We know he can score goals, he did it at the junior level and even last year. His 17 goals in 56 games last regular season equals 25 in 82 games.
Dvorak has a compass in his eye and he has quite a shot. His shot is very special, as Jason Demers, who played four seasons with the new Montreal Canadiens player, explained.
"Here, we used to call it the scoop shot. I don't know how he does it. It's really deceptive. He scores goals on games where you think he has no chance. He's going to win them several games in a shootout! But I can't tell his secret, he'll be mad at me if I do!"
During a game against the Montreal Canadiens in 2017, in Arizona, Dvorak precisely pierced Carey Price with his shot described as "special". The new Red, White, and Blue obviously stands out in the shootout, having scored a total of six goals in seven chances in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns combined.
