This week, the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced that the team had signed Mitchell Miller. Miller was once a draft pick of the Arizona Coyotes, before news broke about some actions in his past. After the details of the incident were revealed, the Coyotes announced that they had waived the draft pick making Miller a free agent.
Now it appears that the signing is not sitting well with everyone, even in the Boston Bruins organization. After being informed of the signing by his general manager, team captain Patrice Bergeron had questions and issues with the decision.
It will be interesting to see how the Bruins handle this issue. If even the club's captain is coming out publicly to state his disagreement, he must not be the only one in this situation within the organization.
