In tonight's preliminaries between Canada and Finland, we witnessed an unusual and hilarious scene as forward Shane Wright thought he had scored a goal, as did young Brandt Clarke.
As a result, both players went their separate ways to both sides of the net to celebrate the goal. Both thought they had scored, but the Canadian players celebrated with Clarke instead.
Finally, the goal was awarded to Brandt Clarke:
"The scoring change now makes it a goal scored by Clarke from Wright and Ostapchuk. Assuming this was the result of a lengthy negotiation between Clarke and Wright during intermission."

"Funny scene after the 2nd period ... Brandt Clarke & Shane Wright wonder who scored that goal, both thought it was their goal.
