For the occasion, Montreal Hockey Now has published a list of the Montreal Canadiens' top five prospects from the camp.
In order or out of order:
The American was drafted 62nd overall in the last draft. Many compare him to Quinn Hughes or Adam Fox. Let's just say it's very positive for the future and it's quite a selection for the organization.
Juraj Slafkosvky
The first overall pick in the last draft, the Slovakian had to perform in this camp and he did well.
Possibly the player with the most experience among rookies. Drafted in the fourth round in 2020, Farrell has had success with Harvard University this season, as well as playing in the Olympics and the Senior World Championship. A prospect to watch in the coming years.
Acquired in the deal that sent Tyler Toffoli to Calgary, Heineman has shown that he has solid hands. He will be interesting to watch this year in Laval.
Slafkovsky's friend was drafted 26th overall this year. With his entry-level contract in hand, this will obviously be a player to watch this year in Europe.
