Good news today for Kent Hughes and Montreal Canadiens fans
Last night, the Montreal Canadiens were off, but Kent Hughes and his team still had some good news.
It's also good news for the fans, because with the results of Tuesday night's games, the Habs have significantly improved their fortunes for the "Connor Bedard lottery".
Marc-Olivier Beaudoin sums it up very well here:
"Great night for CH lottery tickets with wins by the Islanders, Sharks and Penguins! Also remains the Ducks vs Hawks game that is not over. We love it!"
And the outcome of the Ducks/Hawks game? The perfect scenario for the Habs, as this game ended in overtime, so both teams got points. (1 point in the case of Chicago)

It'll be interesting to follow between now and the end of the season, especially considering the "easy" part of the Habs' schedule just ended. By the end of this season, Martin St-Louis' team will be facing NHL powerhouses much more often, with less rest and more road.
It's shaping up to be a tough one.
