The Detroit Red Wings acquired goaltender Ville Husso from the St. Louis Blues today in exchange for a third round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Another goaltender who is no longer available, Husso has also just signed a three-year contract in Detroit (4.75 million per year).
With the trade of Alexandar Georgiev (to Colorado) and the signing of Marc-Andre Fleury in Minnesota, the goalie market is now very weakened. Only Jack Campbell and Darcy Kuemper remain.
