As you know, some observers and fans of the Montreal Canadiens attach great importance to words, and that is absolutely correct.

For this reason, a recent interview given by the owner of the Montreal Canadiens, Geoff Molson, has sparked a lot of discussion and caused quite a stir in the media (more than we anticipated).
Why?
Because, for the first time in his career with the Habs, Geoff Molson openly used the word "rebuild ".
He officially announced and confirmed that the team is undergoing a rebuild.
"Regarding the Canadiens specifically, it is the first time in our history that we are going through a period of "rebuild ," he affirmed to the journalist from Le Journal, Marc de Foy.

"I wasn't afraid, but it's a word we don't want to hear," he also stated. "It's not pleasant to say that we are starting over. It takes courage and a change in leadership to accomplish what we desire."

Certainly, we had guessed it, but to hear it so clearly is very rare. In fact, it's unprecedented.
