Earlier this week, Arizona State University, with whom the Coyotes will share the men's ice hockey team, announced the name of their new arena on Tuesday, a name that will surely add to the negative comments about the organization. Indeed, the Coyotes' next amphitheater will be called the Mullet Arena...
Even worse, on Thursday, the Coyotes announced that they have reached an agreement with the Atlanta Gladiators to become their new ECHL school club. This might have been great news at first, but it becomes ridiculous when you consider that the school club will be playing in a 13,000 seat arena.
Are we obliged to remind you that the Mullet Arena, where the Coyotes will play for the next few years, only has about 5,000 seats. The Coyotes situation has become ridiculous, you have to wonder what is driving Gary Bettman to keep them in Arizona. It's really embarrassing for him and for his league.
