The Montreal Canadiens are off today, and it's all well and good to talk about the big issues, but it's always nice to talk about the little things.
As we reported a few weeks ago, among the team's players who have started taking French lessons (a nice initiative by Chantal Machabée), there is forward Brendan Gallagher.

Yesterday, Brendan Gallagher's girlfriend, Quebec's Emma Fortin, shared a funny story on Instagram.
In it, the two lovers can be seen getting ready to watch a movie at the theater, popcorn in hand, and Gallagher throwing a little:
"Shh! The movie's starting!"

We love it! The French classes have helped so far, it seems, and so has the advice of his girlfriend!
