GOOD NEWS FROM THE MONTREAL CANADIENS
PUBLICATION
Jeff Drouin
October 9, 2021 (10:47)
On October 1st, we got a first taste of Sami Niku's first steps in the Montreal Canadiens uniform. However, the bath was short-lived, as he received a vicious hit from Josh Norris. He suffered a concussion on the sequence.
The Finnish defenseman was back at practice this morning with a regular jersey, so he can receive contacts.
Jonathan Drouin, who was bothered by a virus last Thursday, was also back on the ice this morning.
The Montreal Canadiens players are slowly coming out of the infirmary, which is great news for Dominique Ducharme. It's better to have too many options than not enough.
