Elvis Merzlikins had an excruciating time because of a disconnected individual

It takes a bit of a disconnected mentality to use the death of Matiss Kivlenieks to sicken Elvis Merzlikins during a game.
Kivlenieks, who was Merzlikins' best friend, tragically passed away on the 4th of July when he was hit head on by a firework display. He was in a hot tub before the tragedy. He tried to save the lives of several people by sacrificing his own, according to Merzlikins, who was at the scene.
Anyway, yesterday, as the Dallas Stars were in Columbus to play the Jackets, some weirdo in a Stars jersey mocked Merzlikins using the death of his best friend Kivlenieks...
A very stupid gesture. But it didn't stop Merzlikins from being brilliant in the Stars' 4-1 win thanks to a masterful performance in which he stopped 31 of the 32 pucks directed at him.
