Edmonton reporter reveals a major trade proposal between the Canadiens and Oilers involving Joel Edmundson
It's rare that we see this, but in the last few hours, a reputable journalist has put forward a big concrete trade proposal, and it involves the Montreal Canadiens as well as the Edmonton Oilers.
Plus, it's coming from a reporter who covers the Oilers. (Mark Spector) So it's really interesting to get his take on it, because he's well connected within the Oilers organization.
So check out his suggestion:

Here he was responding to another reporter's comment (Ryan Rishaug) that Joel Edmundson could be traded to Edmonton, for a second or third round pick, Bourgault and Puljujarvi.
So here is Spector's realistic suggestion:
To Montreal - Jesse Puljujarvi + Raphaël Lavoie (or a high draft pick)
To EDMONTON - Joel Edmundson
