Last night on the RDS program L'Antichambre, after the duel between the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning, expert Norman Flynn made a statement that caused a huge stir.
He didn't mince words when he called out Habs head coach Martin St-Louis for benching Jonathan Drouin for three periods.
Remember that Drouin arrived two minutes late to a team meeting on Friday.
2 minutes late to a meeting? I wouldn't have done that to a veteran."
- Norman Flynn
He continues:
"As a coach, you can decide to punish, but without the reporters knowing it.
I'll give you an example: you come in two minutes late? Okay Jonathan. You're fined $10,000, we go out to eat and you pay the bill for everyone.
No one knows that but the guys. Now, I think that's fair. If you put it on display, it doesn't take much for Jonathan to take it down. I don't think it's necessary.

Flynn didn't stop there. He also came down hard on Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki for not doing his job as captain on this issue.
He even went so far as to say that this is proof that the Canadiens are not a real team and Nick Suzuki has not shown that he is a real captain.
Ouch. Do you agree with him?
Hail to my colleague Vincent Fournier (Let's Go Habs) for the find.
