In the most recent matchup between the Vancouver Canucks and Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night, there was one incident that is getting a lot of attention, as Christian Matte (Marqueur.com) reports.
A Canucks fan made a little montage, in which he is seen going to buy a hot dog, to throw it at Phil Kessel, in the middle of a game. And in the end, he films his gesture.
See the result:
He posted his "feat" and his video quickly started circulating on the TikTok network. It got quite a bit of reaction. Some found it very funny, while others thought it was stupid.
Anyway, he has since removed his post.
The Canucks, on the other hand, definitely did not find it funny:
"What he did is totally disrespectful and not welcome at Rogers Arena. We will not tolerate it and are in the process of identifying this person and determining what the next steps will be."
It will be interesting to see what kind of penalty is imposed.
