In the Montreal Canadiens' most recent game the day before yesterday, we witnessed a beautiful and rather powerful moment as Alexander Ovechkin welcomed back Carey Price:
It clearly shows the great respect the #8 has for the #31.
When asked about the subject in an interview with TVA Sports, Ovechkin sent a nice message to the Montreal Canadiens' star goaltender:
"He is one of the best in the league. He's been through some tough situations. He is a warrior and it is good for him, the organization hockey and the family. I'm very happy for him that he's back and I hope for the best." - Ovechkin
Class!
The Washington Capitals' elite scorer also explained why he loves playing in Montreal so much :
"It's one of my favorite places to play. The atmosphere and you guys, the media, make it intoxicating. And if I had a message for CH fans: keep being so passionate and intense. Montreal is one of the most beautiful hockey cities in the world." - Ovechkin
Can't wait to see these two greats of their generation in action again.
