For the past few days, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, like many others around the world, has been a nightmare. The employees of the various airlines are overwhelmed as schedule changes and flight cancellations are more and more numerous. Not to mention the hundreds of unclaimed checked bags that end up at arrivals because the bags cannot be found, even hours after landing...
Stress is mounting in Montreal less than a week before the NHL draft. Agent Allan Walsh tweeted about the situation, saying that some airline CEOs have already contacted him.
"Can you even imagine the tsunami of cancellations and delays on flights to Montreal for the draft and homecoming. I got emails from the airline CEO all week apologizing in advance." - Allan Walsh
So some prospects may miss the opportunity to attend the draft in Montreal if their respective flights are delayed for the big event.
When Walsh commented on the situation, reporters and tipsters responded with several revealing that they were traveling by car to get to Montreal on time, including Pierre LeBrun.
This could become a huge problem next week if things don't change at the airport...
