According to Trege Wilson of The Hockey Writer, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes is reportedly offering a qualifying offer to only two of the 10 players who will become compensated free agents.
Those two players would be Cayden Primeau and Kirby Dach.
The others, Rem Pitlick, Michael Pezzetta, Kale Clague, Joel Teasdale, Nate Schnarr, Josh Brook, Corey Schueneman and Samuel Montembeault, will all become uncompensated free agents on July 13th if the rumor is true.
Today is the last day for NHL teams to offer a qualifying offer to their RFA's and keep their rights.
To be continued throughout the day...
