Major news involving a Montreal Canadiens prospect in goal today!

As reported by the excellent journalist Kevin Dubé, from the Journal de Québec, the rumor is confirmed!

Goalie Quentin Miller will be traded by the Quebec Remparts!

"Rumors had been circulating for a while, but it's now confirmed. Canadiens prospect and Remparts goalie Quentin Miller will move to the Rimouski Océanic in the coming days."

And the details:

"The Journal finally obtained confirmation that the final point of the transaction had been placed and that Miller will become a member of the Océanic on December 29. He was informed Monday night. Miller will have the opportunity to play one last game in front of his fans at the Vidéotron Centre on December 28. [...] The Remparts will notably acquire the Océanic's first and second-round picks in 2025, as well as a player to be confirmed later." - Kevin Dubé

It's quite special to see that Miller can play another game with the Remparts, even though he's already been traded, but that's how junior hockey sometimes works.

Miller, 18 years old and from Montreal, is a 4th round pick of the Canadiens in 2023 (128th overall). He has a record of 11-13-1 this season, with an average of 3.05 and a save percentage of 0.901 behind a rebuilding team.

That's very solid.

He will now have the opportunity to experience a big end of the season with a strong team in front of him.
