Artturi Lehkonen is doing very well these days. Number 62 is currently sitting fourth in the Habs scoring charts with 10 points in 23 games.
However, the Finn was in a slump during the first 13 games of the season, with only one assist.
Grant McCagg, a former NHL scout, has been keeping a close eye on the Montreal Canadiens. He showed a chart that only confirms that with each start of the season since 2017, it's harder for Lehkonen to perform offensively.
2017-2018: 2 goals in 36 games
2018-2019 : 2 goals in 25 games
2019-2020 : 2 goals in 20 games
2020-2021 : 2 goals in 22 games
2021-2022 : 0 goals in 19 games
He is literally very consistent in his inconsistency, which is kind of comical.
Lehkonen may not be known for his offensive skills, but it does the team a world of good when he is productive. A little extra this year, considering the team isn't scoring many goals.
