The Montreal Canadiens hosted the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night at the Bell Centre. As we all know, there is a surplus of forwards on the Habs and Kent Hughes has been trying to make a trade for several weeks now.
The Montreal Gazette reporter Stu Cowan shared a very interesting list of scouts in attendance at the Bell Centre Wednesday night. Of those 18 scouts, three are Senators members, including general manager Pierre Dorion.
There are several names available from the Habs, including Mike Hoffman, Jonathan Drouin, Joel Armia and Evgenii Dadonov. The fact that the Senators are represented by three members, including the general manager himself, gives a very good indication that there could be a trade with the Canadiens or Canucks soon.
