Having just been fined by the NHL's Department of Player Safety, former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Alexander Romanov is reportedly back in hot water and at risk of being suspended.

Romanov dangerously hit Sens youngster Shane Pinto and hit him in the head:

After this sequence, Pinto seemed to be shaken up and had to retreat to his team's locker room to go through the NHL's concussion protocol.

On the ice, there was a lot of drama as Austin Watson went to give a vicious double-check to Romanov to avenge his young teammate. And then there was a battle with Ross Johnston.

Please note that Romanov's action has gone unpunished, but some experts are saying that the tough defenseman is likely to get (another) call from the Bettman's disciplinary committee.

Do you think this deserves a suspension? Knowing Romanov, we know very well that he had absolutely no bad intentions and that he only wanted to be tough, but let's say that he is already (in spite of himself) at his probable second meeting with the disciplinary prefect.

Let's not forget that he is still very young and that he too is still learning from these experiences.
