A video of Cole Caufield has just surfaced and it is truly concerning
We don't talk about it because it's absolutely normal for a young player like Cole Caufield to go through more difficult phases, especially at 5-on-5, but there's new information, and it could explain a lot.
We insist.
We are not at all worried about Caufield's talent, even though he's having a lot of trouble scoring at 5-on-5 this season, it's normal!
However, we are now a bit more concerned about his health, and more specifically about his shoulder.
Is Caufield still bothered by a shoulder injury?
The question deserves to be asked.
Images have just surfaced that are cause for concern. This could explain why Cole has only one goal in his last 12 games.
Grant McCagg, a scouting expert, pointed out two sequences during the same shift in last night's game against the Ducks in Anaheim.
We see Caufield literally getting rid of the puck, instead of trying a play, to protect his shoulder.
See his explanation and the images.
Let's hope his shoulder is 100%, but that may not be the case.
