We have another personnel movement to announce within the Montreal Canadiens' affiliate, as the Trois-Rivières Lions have just placed a Quebec forward on the suspended players list, in order to remove him from the lineup.

He will therefore leave the organizational chart of the Montreal Canadiens and the team affiliated with the Habs in the ECHL.

See the official statement.

"The Trois-Rivières Lions have placed forward Maxim Trépanier on the suspended players list in order to remove him from the lineup.

He will continue his career in Europe.

Good luck in your career Maxim!"

- Lions de Trois-Rivières

Trépanier, 24 years old and a native of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, is a 5 feet 11 inches left winger who played for the Shawinigan Cataractes, the Halifax Mooseheads, the Gatineau Olympiques, and the Rimouski Océanic in the LHJMQ.

He has shown solid offensive potential with productive seasons:

- 24 points in 34 games in 2017
- 40 points in 37 games in 2018
- 63 points in 53 games in 2019.

He also amassed 35 points in 33 games at Concordia.

With the Trois-Rivières Lions this season, he has collected 10 points, including five goals, in 17 games.

We wish him the best of luck going forward.
