Now that the free agent season is pretty much over in the National Hockey League, we can almost say that we are in the middle of the wedding season.
After Tyler Seguin, Joel Armia, Tuukka Rask and many others, it was the turn of defenseman Aaron Ekblad (Florida Panthers) to live his magic moment.
Pictures of the event have been published and we can see two familiar faces.
The new Montreal Canadiens defenseman Michael Matheson, and the one that many hope to see sign with the Habs next summer, Jonathan Huberdeau, were there.

Of course, the reactions are numerous following this publication, as some fans and observers try to convince themselves that the friendship between Matheson and Huberdeau could help Kent Hughes to sign the star player, but hey... You be the judge if you see this as newsworthy.
Could Michael Matheson really help the Canadiens convince Jonathan Huberdeau to sign in Montreal? We doubt it, but it's not impossible either.
