Earlier today, the Montreal Canadiens surprised us by sending young defenseman Arber Xhekaj to the AHL, with the Laval Rocket.

Georges Laraque just made a huge statement regarding Xhekaj.
"I'm telling you, it starts with this (the demotion to the AHL) and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't finish the year in Montreal."
