Brady Tkachuk has been showing since the opening of the 2021-22 schedule how much he deserves to strut his stuff with a "C" on his jersey. He's playing like a real man, like a captain and like a guy who's hungry for knowledge. He wants to learn all the tricks of the game.
In his style, he is exceptional, without being, obviously, a Connor McDavid.
On November 27th, Tkachuk was bitten by the plague that is Brendan Lemieux. It was a memorable bite, in every sense of the word because Tkachuk now has a nice tooth print on his arm.
Here is the sequence in question:
All of this hullabaloo leads me to this: since that bite, Tkachuk has a total of 10 points, including seven goals, in six games. Looks like he's been motivated more by this one, hahaha. Add to that his 18 checks, for an average of three per game.
This year, he has 21 points, including 11 goals, in 22 games, so he's headed for a 35-40 goal season. His 89 checks are not insignificant either. What a unique player, isn't he?
