As the 2024 NHL Draft approaches, trade rumors are heating up, and based on past events, the Canadiens could announce a trade literally from one day to the next.
Who will be involved? Various predictions are circulating right now, and recently on BPM Sports radio, it was David Ettedgui's turn to weigh in.
The player agent and analyst mentioned that he believes it could be the end for Christian Dvorak and Jesse Ylonen in Montreal.
He is not the only one who thinks so.
These are still two players who have established themselves as regulars in Martin St-Louis' lineup, Ylonen this season, but who could be easily replaced by younger players.
And according to you, have Ylonen and Dvorak played their last games in a Montreal Canadiens uniform?
Jesse Ylonen, 24 years old, recorded 8 points in 59 games with the Canadiens this season, and he didn't play a single game with the Laval Rocket in 2023-24.
He is a restricted free agent this summer.
Christian Dvorak, 28 years old, recorded 9 points in 30 games with the Canadiens this season, and he had 28 points in 64 games last season, in 2022-23.
He is signed for 4.45 million dollars until 2025.
