BREAKING: Homegrown Forward Maxime Comtois Signs a New Contract
Here is some great news involving Quebecois forward Max Comtois.
"The Hurricanes have signed a one-year, two-way contract with free agent forward Max Comtois. $775,000 NHL / $250,000 AHL."
- NHL News
A very cost-effective acquisition for them!
Comtois, 25 years old and a native of Longueuil, has accumulated 86 points (38 goals) in 210 career NHL games, including a season in which he was the top scorer of his team at the age of 21.
In the AHL this season, he has amassed 28 points in 45 games.
We are really happy for him, who will have a fresh start and can finally put his more difficult moments behind him.
He's back in the NHL!
"The Hurricanes had an interest in his services last summer, and now Maxime Comtois signs a contract with them. Two-way contract." - Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports
In the comments, many fans are perplexed and would have liked the CH to give him a chance, at this very low price, but what matters is that he has a new opportunity. Bravo, Max!
