It happened again, the Maple Leafs have lost in game seven for the sixth consecutive time versus the Boston Bruins on Saturday night and their fans have been disappointed yet again seeing them on the losing side of the handshake line.
The handshake line is a tradition at the end of every series when the losing team and winning team gather for a handshake amongst each other after a hard fought series. However, TD Garden have pulled off the ultimate troll job to Leafs fans watching in the arena and on television by showcasing the scenes at Maple Leaf Square in Toronto where fans would have watch parties. In the clip you would see the sheer disappointment in the fans faces, a most definite jab at the fans.
The arena itself wasn't the only trolljobs, infact captain Brad Marchand who is known for his chirpy personality threw a shot at the Leafs favorite slogan, "BeLeaf" in his post game interview after David Pastrnak's game winner.
