Trade Market: Announcement from Pierre McGuire involving the Canadiens
As some Canadiens fans hope that Kent Hughes will complete a trade before the start of the next season, we have some news.
It seems that the Canadiens' GM has already finished his summer shopping.
Pierre McGuire believes Kent Hughes has finished his shopping on the National Hockey League trade market
At least that's what former TSN analyst Pierre McGuire said during his appearance on Tony Marinaro's podcast.
In fact, he even expects the Canadiens' roster to be exactly the same as it is now for the regular season opener on October 9th against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
We all know that Hughes tried everything to acquire a top 6 forward to help his team for the upcoming season, but it seems that the price to acquire such a player was simply too high for the Canadiens' organization.
Names like Trevor Zegras and Martin Necas were seriously linked to Montreal, but it looks like that will have to wait.
Are you disappointed by this turn of events?
