Andy Strickland just made a major statement regarding a trade involving American forward Brady Tkachuk. This isn't too surprising for the current Ottawa Senators forward, and we were discussing it a few weeks back.
Now, reporter Andy Strickland has added more fuel to the fire.
According to him, it is "inevitable" that Brady Tkachuk will eventually leave the Ottawa Senators to play for an American team. (Just like his brother and father did in the past.)
"I am 100% American, and I want nothing to do with Team Canada," Matthew said in recent days when asked about the possibility of suiting up for Team Canada, given that his mother is originally from Winnipeg.
So, don't be surprised if Brady eventually ends up with a U.S.-based team.
Rumors linking him to the
New York Rangers, coming from Larry Brooks, now seem to be gaining traction.
Brady Tkachuk's departure from Ottawa is "inevitable," according to Andy Strickland
Here's what he had to say:
"Strickland says Brady Tkachuk's departure from Ottawa is inevitable, and he believes he will try to team up with
Matthew Tkachuk."

Imagine if Brady and Matthew both ended up on the Florida Panthers!
Tkachuk, 25 years old, 6 feet 4 inches, and 225 pounds, has recorded 44 points in 56 games this season with Ottawa. (101 penalty minutes)
