Kings Reportedly Willing to Trade 1st-Round Pick to Canadiens, Targeting a Specific Forward
We have action on the NHL trade market just days before the deadline, particularly involving Kent Hughes and the Canadiens.
He is a forward they have clearly targeted.
"They are already well-established at center, and yet, they are also interested in [Jake] Evans. What does that tell you? They are serious," an NHL source told RG on Saturday night.
The Los Angeles Kings would agree to trade their 1st-round pick
Last night, we reported that the Kings are seriously interested in Jake Evans, which is surprising considering they already have
Anze Kopitar,
Phillip Danault, and
Quinton Byfield at center. However, this comes from very reliable sources.
And today, we've learned that these same Kings have just decided that they could trade their 1st-round pick.
According to John Hoven of MayorsManor, the Kings are willing to trade their first-round pick in this summer's NHL Draft and the club is "exploring all opportunities." - Via TFP
Will this 1st-round pick they are willing to trade be used in a deal involving Jake Evans? Could they also want to add
Joel Armia to acquire both players together?
This is something to keep an eye on before Friday, but know that the Los Angeles Kings..
2- Would agree to trade their 1st-round pick.
These are two factors that could very well be connected.
