There are plenty of trade rumors circulating right now, but it's also interesting to get some more concrete price tags.
In any case, it obviously all depends on the price, which is why it's helpful to have some info on that front.
Recently, the name of a Boston Bruins center has been linked to Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens..
In the past few hours, the excellent Marco D'Amico weighed in on what the Bruins might be asking from the Canadiens in this case.
New details on what the Bruins are asking from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Pavel Zacha, according to Marco D'Amico
In his opinion, the asking price seems very reasonable for the Habs.
"I could definitely see players like [Pavel Zacha and
William Karlsson] being traded for a second-round pick and a prospect."
- Marco D'Amico
In Karlsson's case, it seems a bit more complicated, but if I were Kent Hughes, I wouldn't hesitate at all to give up a second-round pick and a prospect to acquire Zacha!
He would be a strong second-line center!
Would you trade, say,
Filip Mesar and a second-round pick for Pavel Zacha?
Zacha, 28, is a 6-foot-3, 206-pound center who was drafted 6th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2015.
This season, he recorded 47 points in 82 games with the Bruins, after posting 59 points in 78 games last season.
Zacha is signed through 2027 at just under five million dollars per year.
