A first signing was announced today within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
A player from the Laval Rocket is back, having signed a one-season contract.

He will be present at the training camp in September!
Jakov Novak, 25 years old, 6 feet 3 inches and 215 pounds, is a robust Canadian forward who amassed 56 points in 66 games last season with the Trois-Rivières Lions, including 30 goals.
He also played a few games with the Laval Rocket, following a solid NCAA career (notably with Northeastern University and Bentley University).

He adds great organizational depth among robust forwards with good size.
