Two significant trade proposals have surfaced between the Canadiens and the Jets on the CapFriendly website, one of which would be quite painful for Montreal

This section contains a ton of trade proposals, sometimes realistic, but more often than not, quite wild. It's crazy to see how a fan of a team views their players much higher than they actually are in reality.

With all the rumors swirling about Pierre-Luc Dubois heading to Montreal, Winnipeg Jets fans have recently had some fun in this section. They came up with their proposal so that the Habs could finally acquire the Quebecer, before he becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer. As mentioned earlier, many of these proposals are quite ridiculous.

The Twitter account @goalcauf has compiled two particularly absurd ones:

As you can see, the first one sends Dubois to Montreal in exchange for the Florida Panthers' first-round pick, which will be between the 29th and 32rd overall (so far, so good). But the Habs would have to add none other than Kaiden Guhle! That's a bit much, don't you think?

The second trade, less laughable but no more realistic, sends Dubois to Montreal in exchange for Kirby Dach and Justin Barron. The goal of acquiring the Quebecer is to stabilize the center position with Suzuki and Dach. In that case, why involve the former Blackhawks player in this trade? It would require starting all over again afterward.

You might say that Canadiens fans do the same thing, and you'd be right. However, the aim here was to see what goes on in the minds of opposing fans in this specific situation.
