Trade negotiation in progress between the Canadiens and the Hurricanes involving a goalie? Pierre LeBrun just revealed a huge piece of information
In his daily news segment, the renowned Pierre LeBrun revealed some very interesting information involving the Carolina Hurricanes and the Montreal Canadiens.
As you know, the Habs have been keeping three goalies in their lineup for nearly a month now to avoid losing Cayden Primeau on waivers, and a decision is imminent in this matter to end this situation.
It's really not ideal at the moment, especially for the young Primeau who isn't playing and isn't developing.
A trade between the Canadiens and the Hurricanes?
On this topic, Pierre LeBrun just revealed that the Carolina Hurricanes, who have just lost the services of their number one goalie, are keeping a very close eye on the Tricolore's goalies.
In fact, there are two teams with which the Canes might possibly be trying to make a deal quickly: the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings.
According to LeBrun, the chances are good that Carolina will soon announce a trade involving a goalie.
We are really wondering which of our goalies they are targeting.
Is it Cayden Primeau, Jake Allen, or perhaps Samuel Montembeault?
This is definitely a story to follow, but know that something seems to be brewing between the Hurricanes and GM Kent Hughes on the trade market.
