Trade alert between the Dallas Stars and the Colorado Avalanche
In the last few minutes, the Dallas Stars have announced a trade with the Colorado Avalanche.
Here's the trade in question.
In Colorado:
- Fredrik Olofsson (LW)
In Dallas:
- Future considerations
The Avalanche then immediately signed Olofsson to a contract extension.
Where this trade gets rather unusual is when we realize indeed (as the excellent site CapFriendly mentions) that this is the 22nd time this season that Olofsson has been involved in a roster move.
Per @CapFriendly this is the 22nd transaction involving Fredrik Olofsson this season. The guy was recalled and sent back practically every day for weeks.
A little fun fact.
Olofsson, 27 years old, has collected 14 points in 37 games this season with the Texas Stars. He had almost a point per game (42 points in 49 games) in the top Swedish League. Which is very solid.
