As the Montreal Canadiens' training camp rapidly approaches, there's only one major matter left for Kent Hughes to resolve. At least, in the trading market.
Now that Jeff Petry has been traded, the Habs' general manager still has to navigate his surplus of goaltenders.
Many believe he cannot start the season with four goalies. (for obvious reasons) He probably can't start the season with three goalies either.
So, Kent Hughes will have to trade one of his goaltenders, and as reported by the guys from Habs Fan TV, via the very reliable Incarcerated Bob, we now apparently know the identity of the goalie who might be on his way out.
It would be Casey DeSmith.
That's the one Hughes is reportedly actively trying to trade this week.
According to Incarcerated Bob, it seems that Casey DeSmith will be the one leaving Montreal out of the 4 goalies! Is this the right move by Kent Hughes?- Habs Fan TV
Do you believe this would be the right decision?
Let's remember that Kent Hughes recently stated in a press conference that he will not send Casey DeSmith to the waivers or to the AHL.
