Several conflicting pieces of information are circulating on social media regarding possible discussions between the CH and the Oilers for a goaltender. While Elliotte Friedman and Eric Engels claim that the Alberta team is interested in all three CH goaltenders, Pierre LeBrun states that no discussions have yet taken place between the two clubs.

However, this little battle of insiders does not prevent people from making their proposals. This is exactly what Liam Horrobin did during a recent edition of the podcast *OilersNation Everyday*. As you will see, this offer is quite embarrassing and ridiculous.

Adding to the equation Montembeault, who is having an excellent campaign, in exchange for a goaltender who has recently been waived, this offer is almost an embarrassment to the intelligence of Kent Hughes.
It is certain that a goaltender will leave the CH sooner rather than later, but it would be surprising if it were at this price...
